Natural

I love natural:
- I love people who don’t fake what they are
- I love things that happen naturally
- I feel comfortable without too much make-up
- I love natural food
- I love snickers
- I can buy you, but I can’t make you do the things that you don’t
- I love to talk to people that I don’t know
- I prefer theater rather than movies
- I love to call people when I feel like it (without planning it)
- I take people as they are

I am not a perfect girl, my hair doesn’t stay in place, I forget a lot of things, I’m pretty clumsy and sometimes I have a broken heart. I find myself sometimes in embarrassing situations. I like the silence and some people told me I can’t show them love. My friends and I fight, and some days nothing goes right.

But I take a step back and remember how amazing life truly is and maybe, just maybe I love being unperfected.

The begining of the end

Today is the first day of transition with the new MC team. Imagine 17 people working and living together for the next 2 months. It is going to be CHAOS.

This morning there was somebody else working at my desk, no coffee cups and spoons left to use, no enough computers to work on, the conference room was full during our meeting, everybody talking at the same time, no place where you can have a private phone call (besides bathroom) and the story could go on.

So…Frustrations, frustrations, frustraaaaations..
What a horrible way to die!
What a horrible way to die!
What horrible way to spend your day!
What a horrible way to die!

These 2 months should add more FLEXIBILITY to myself and my team. I hope all of us succeed in having a great time.

Remember…
Embrace the Random!
Breathe in, breathe out and continue!

Ohhh my laptop is going to crash in 5 minute

Red Alert !

It all started as a RED ALERT. Heavy rains, floods and strong wind as the meteorologist mister "Plash" said. Besides the weather it was also a red alert in our office where a lot of tension and bad temper was going around. It’s so funny to watch people who just don’t want to learn from their past experiences.

I was leaving to spend the weekend in this area where a lot of floods were to happen. Most people didn't got out of the house after watching the news. Instead all that everything happened like:
- a 24 karate diamond was born. Happy Birthday Darius!
- gold and simplicity were celebrated. Happy Birthday Marcela!
- rain pouring down on a sunny day
- sauna at 80 degrees
- watching the snow in march while we were swimming in the pool
- discovering the "eat as much as you can" concept at Cutitu d'Argint, Sinaia
- laugh, laugh, laugh

Till the end it all turned out to be GREEN. Us and also the weather. Fresh grass and blossomed threes. So I guess heavy rain it’s good to happen from time to time.

It depends on YOU if you want to be RED or GREEN despite of all that happens around.

Random

How cool is it to be random.

It’s even cooler when you have people that like you when you are random. I have my colleagues that get angry and edgy when I make a stupid joke out of the blue. But with some of them happens the contrary. They get relaxed and start enjoying the whole thing. The best way to deal with a crisis situation is by being random. I guess this “Wisdom” comes after the latest strong changes that happened around me.

It's a rainy day and I feel great!! Also some people who are talking with me are thinking how to treat their situations....by being angry or random. Guys weekend is coming !

Relax ..take it easy…

World Water Day

FACTS about water :

World Water Day is celebrated every year on 22 March. The theme for 2007 is ‘water scarcity’. Even in areas with plenty of rainfall or freshwater, water scarcity occurs. Because of the ways in which water is used and distributed, there is not always enough water to fully meet the demands of households, farms, industry, and the environment.

Water scarcity already affects every continent and four of every ten people in the world. The situation is getting worse due to population growth, urbanization and the increase in domestic and industrial water use.

By 2025, nearly 2 billion people will be living in countries or regions with absolute water shortage, where water resources per person fall below the recommended level of 500 cubic metres per year. This is the amount of water a person needs for a healthy and hygienic living.

Millennium Development Goal number 7, target 10 aims "to halve, by 2015, the proportion of people without sustainable access to safe drinking water and basic sanitation". The world is still on track to reach the drinking water target, but increasing water scarcity may seriously undermine progress towards achieving this goal.

Water scarcity underscores the need for better water management. Good water management reduces breeding sites for disease vectors, which leads to reduced transmission of malaria, lymphatic filariasis, schistosomiasis and Japanese encephalitis.

Do you part by conserving, recycling and protecting water more efficiently?

Good question for people that not aware of the world they live in. And now i remember Habib, from AIESEC International, story about Nigeria:
"Nigeria is the country I know better among the ones I’m visiting; still I was not expecting such an emotive visit. The encounter with Nigeria will definitely remain one of the moments I'll cherish all my life; such talented and bright minds getting along with crap and mediocrity was thrilling.

I've seen delegates showing up to the morning plenary with more than two hour late, but working eight hours in a row without eating or even drinking a glass of water! I've seen people attending sessions until 11 pm without complaining! Waking up to realize there's no water for a bath, no breakfast available but still go for the morning plenary with a broad smile."

Hmmm...i have nothing more to say.

Moving on....

For no reason I didn't receive a visa to go India. It's very frustrating when you don't receive an answer to the question "Why?". It is a very simple question that some people don't even dare to ask. It’s not about the fact that I didn't get the visa, but the way they treat you. When I am saying this, it's a very subjective approach from my side.

But anyway besides that I planned for 3 months this experience I found a cure. 4 days in my hometown with my friends. I am so lucky to have them. Also I met D and C, a lovely couple and very inspiring people. Maybe there is a reason why I didn't go to India. I have a feeling why...but I’ll let you know later.

It is quite odd to put things in my planner for the time I was supposed to leave. The thing is that after I finish my MC term, 1st of June, it's a very very big blank. So I have to make some choices. I have to appropriate the things that I do and like. Only than I will be in peace with myself.

Listening to Van Morrison - Brown eye girl, I can say that winter has passed and spring is here for me.

Smile and wave…life is beautifull !!!

Personal Freedom

Lately I am asking myself how many of my friends are free. How many of them are feeling comfortable with themselves and what they do. Of course these questions are constantly in my head about me.

I believe that in order to create the life and experiences that I desire, it is essential to have a strong Personal Freedom. Without this Freedom, I will always be struggling against something. With it, I would be at liberty to pursue what I want! I came across this passage that made me think:

" I think about that wisdom often, "It's good to be afraid from time to time, but to lead a life of true personal freedom, you've got to be fearless." There are three questions I associate with that wisdom. First of all, why is it good to be afraid? It is good because that is the only way that you can really tell that you're moving ahead, growing, stretching, that you're walking in territory that you've never walked in before, that you're expanding beyond yesterday's comfort zone.

And as you move out of yesterday's comfort zone: it's essential that you ask yourself a second question, what is a life of true personal freedom? Each of us has our own definition, but here is what true personal freedom means to me. True personal freedom means that I can and will do what I know, in my head and in my heart, is right. It is a life unfettered by the false boundaries of the less desirable side of humanity. True personal freedom defies the limitations put upon us by the unkind forces of society. Most of all, true personal freedom mitigates the limitations we often put upon ourselves. It mitigates the boundaries we build around ourselves called "uncertainty," "pessimism," and "self-doubt."

As we confront those limitations and boundaries, both in our world and in ourselves, we have to ask that final, piercing question: what does it mean to be fearless? To be fearless does not mean moving with a blind disregard for danger, for the dangers of our world can be very real. To be fearless means knowing there is far less danger in working for what you believe in than there is in passively surrendering to the other side, the side that keeps us from taking what is making it good, better, and best."

What i do today writes the history of tomorrow. Still deciding on what should I do :)

Thought of the day!

I have a lot of things going on in my daily life..therefore a lot of thoughts going thru my head. This is one of them:

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.”
